As February 14, Valentine’s Day rolls around, the Austin airport will be spreading love and chocolate to Austin passengers.
AUSTIN, Texas – As February 14, Valentine’s Day rolls around, the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport will be spreading love and chocolate to Austin airport travelers. Guest Services will be providing games and candy giveaways from 2 to 4 p.m. directly across from Gate 18. These activities will include:
Snag a Valentine – a Valentine’s Day inspired Plinko game, a popular pricing game on the Price Is Right, for a chance to win cookies and candy
Love AUS backdrop – for the opportunity to take fun photos and create memorable social media moments
Candy Giveaways – a table will be set up between the East exit and Departure Lounge, which will feature Valentine’s Day inspired décor.
Concessionaire Delaware North will also celebrate Valentine’s Day with their own set of promotions. Some of these include:
Book People – they will be hosting a sale on books and miscellaneous objects for the last minute Valentine shopper
Amy’s Ice Cream – Amy’s will be selling their ever popular chocolate covered strawberries in bag claim near Carousel 5 and at Amy’s concourse food court kiosk across from Gate 21 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Feb. 12 – 14. Dipped in Belgian Callebaut Chocolate and topped with a white chocolate drizzle, these fresh, handmade desserts will be available at $12 for a half dozen and $20 for a dozen. With each order wrapped in an adorable gift box, these treats make the perfect gift-giving opportunity this Valentine’s Day.
Concessionaire Paradies Lagardere will also celebrate with its “Love the Troops” event:
“Love the Troops” is part of their “Treat our Troops” program. Starting on Friday, Feb. 15, associates will ask customers if they would like to purchase items for the troops. All donations from customers through their stores are gifted to the USO in San Antonio.
